What
a great place Auckland is!. We walked down to the harbour this
morning, all around the new quays and wharves looking at all the big
shiny boats. They had some of The Americas Cup racing boats moored,
amazing things. The morning was spent sorting out stuff, going to
the tourist office, buying a sim card and dongle for the pc, going to
the supermarket, and buying me a new pair of sandles, as I stupidly
left mine in Canberra.....derr. We had coffee and chilled out....
it's such hard work!
After
Oz last week, the weather is perfect., about 25 degrees, blue skies,
warm and sunny. The city is windy, so there is always a breeze
running through... I think I might have caught the sun as I didn't
feel the need to cover myself up from head to foot.
In
the evening we tried a terrace wine bar just down the road, and came
back and cooked pasta for dinner, pefect. We are trying not too eat
out too office as the waistline may suffer even more.
