Thursday 4th February
We woke to blue skies and sunshine and decided to stay just where we are. We popped into town for some grub and came straight back, sat by the van, went for a walk, had a glass of wine and did absolutely nothing, it was great. Sometimes you just need to do that.

As I haven't got a long ramble today, I thought I would tell you about some of the romantic and delightful place names we've driven through. There was PukePuke, PukeMaori, Sandfly Point, Lake Misery, Colac Bay, Lake Bog, Kaka Creek, The Remarkables, Roaring Billy, Blowfly Hut and Mosquito Hill to name but a few. Needless to say we didn't go down and see Sandfly Point.
Oh, Rod is this a precursor for Valentines day? We particularly like the idea of 'PukePuke' ... :)
ReplyDeleteHi Jan & Rod, I've just caught up on your last two weeks. What amazing pictures and incredible views. The helicopter ride and glacier looked amazing and Queenstown just fab. I've enjoyed reading and seeing everything through your eyes.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are having a relaxing day - sometimes you need that just to soak up the vibe.

It's important to stop occasionally and just be and it looks like a very good place to do B.A.!! I'm surprised that chicken hasn't been transformed into soup!
